This will be an open class, and you are welcome to work on a pattern of your choosing. Anne will be presenting detailed information on “Beyond the Mat: Hooked Primitive Pillows & Purses”. This will be a perfect time if you’ve been interested in hooking & constructing a purse or pillow. Several techniques are used with both categories. In addition to the purses on her website, Anne is happy to work with you prior to the workshop to create a custom designed purse or pillow. Most of her designs can be adjusted to a pillow size as well.

A chart and worksheet will be included with your kit. Victoria will provide the kit which includes a Bunny/Flower pattern (14 x 14) and the wool for shading. You can use your own wool for the background. This will be a 1-day workshop with a maximum of 12 students. It is first come, first served for members. A waiting list will be started, if needed.

Anita White - A Twist with a Twist Workshop
You will be hooking one of Anita’s Twist patterns but you will pick from one of her 5 designs for the middle of the rug. Anita will have two sizes (16x20 or 16x28) of the twist rug pattern available to purchase. Anita’s method for the twist is best taught in her selection of wools that effectively complete the twist design. She will give choices of neutrals, gold or greys colors. Neutrals is her favorite when hooking the twist. The twist is best done in any cut but no narrower than a 6 cut. You can provide the wool for background and center. Anita will have additional wool for purchase during the workshop.
